Modern methods of research have been used to give a factual report on the research issue. The research has been conducted in various cities to determine the findings. The data has also been organized to deduce the findings, which have been accordingly interpreted. The research issue is a current issue facing the cities particularly the large cities. This issue has been characterized by loss of clear distinctions between the city-manager government and the council. This is a prevailing issue that requires to be addressed in order to ensure proper and efficient governance of the cities. A recently conducted research was conducted to deduce the management of large cities by city managers. It reveals the most recent findings in relation to the previous research carried out.
